nickkohri on Thursday, August 13, 2009 HMV (EMI India) has the distinction of destroying the original master music tapes and original copper masters from which the records are pressed. So the musical treasures from 1948 till 1970 are all lost! They had no respect for our musical heritage. So the YouTube clips are the only source. In most cases, the soundtrack recordings were different than the actual records during the early years! But something is better than nothing.
girish613 on Sunday, March 01, 2009 In 1970 I had purchased a LP Record of Best of Asha Bhosle. In that record HMV had put this duet (and that also only half) instead of solo of Asha Bhosle.
It made me so mad that I threw away that record in trash.
