whatevalosa111 on Sunday, April 12, 2009 i think the reason it didnt do so well was beacuse it is so disappoitning and when and audience watches a movie they want to see a good entertainment. We already have so many depressing thing going on in our lives that to see another person doing badly is not really encouraging. People dont want to feel sad after watching a mvie, they have enough of their own griefs to adopt somebody else's and somebody who isnt even real.

badly with the critics and the box office. I do agree that the ending kind
of ruined the point of the story line. It was very typical
make-everything-all-better Bollywood, so I wish they would have made it a
little more realistic. But Rani was AMAZING in this movie. This song is
definitely my favorite one, as it captures the essence so well.
lagypsyeyes on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 This was a great movie with an unrealistic ending. I loved Rani's acting along with Jaya's, however everyone else paled in comparison or only did so-so. The movie is about prostitution, however as realistic as they tried to make it seem, they also wanted to spin it into a fairytale ending, which is what ruined it for me. It would've been much more powerful had they showed the consequences.

like this because it'll influence people. If you don't have money, get a
decent job instead of becoming a person who sells their body. We don't want
bad influence by a movie. But a great performance by Rani in the movie
